What’s app messages are exciting these days. My sister is in India. She traveled there last week with her husband, daughter, and mother in law. My brother in law was born in India, but he hasn’t been back since he was a small child. Their purpose is to leave his mother to live with her sister. But they have made it into a deep dive into the culture. Today they start a tour of Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra.
Her pictures are so fabulous. I asked her if I could share a few.
My sister asked me what souvenir I might like. I said the pictures are all the souvenirs I need. As you might expect, she was very anxious about this trip, so I love seeing that they are having the time of a lifetime. Saying goodbye next weekend will be tough. I suspect they may travel back next year. Maybe she will take her sister with her.

I am so glad you could share some photos with us. The photos from Holi especially are so delightful. It’s wonderful to hear that she is having the trip of a lifetime.
I agree – the pictures are the best souvenirs of all. For they are memories forever preserved, and they take us there to share the moments. There is such vivid color in these snapshots – – like the joy is alive, blooming in flowers and paint and clothing. Yes, I hope she takes her sister next year.
Thank you for sharing such happy images filled with love and joy. I suspect these photos will bring joy to many for many years to come for your sister but even more so to your brother in law who is reconnecting with his roots.

This trip must be weighty with emotion for all of them. I’m ao glad they’re having wonderful adventures together along the way. Those experiences and new memories will no doubt ease the sting of saying goodbye. The pictures are fabulous! Each one is a celebration!
