April is National Poetry Month. Each year the #kidlit poetry community writes a progressive poem. The idea originated from Irene Latham. Each day the poem travels to a different blog, and the poet adds a new line to the poem. Past poems can be seen here.
If you’d like to participate in this year’s progressive poem, please comment on this post with your date choice and blog URL link. Come back to this post to copy and paste the schedule into your blog post. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

April 10 and I will need a friend to let me post on their Blog, since I am blogless, but would really like to participate again. Please find me here or on FB at Janet Clare PM to let me know if you would be so kind to host me this April.
I have been spending time writing grants of late and have limited time for my poetry. I am also looking into finally getting my chap book (to include poems for kids and adults) published and writing about the classroom poetry program I developed and used so successfully. I miss being involved in Poetry Friday but want all of you to know I read when I can and applaud all of your devotion and hard and interesting work.

Janet, I can host you here.
