I love this image, Margaret. As I read this in my kitchen, with the morning sun pouring in the window, this came pouring out:
haiku harmony
shatters darkness
floods the world with light
Love it, Catherine!
Margaret, I am so pleased to be part of community of friends who cherish the poetry and spread the love.
My response to you and Catherine’s haikus are at my post today.
I love this haiku community. I wonder if we should create a space to continue throughout the year. And the idea of capturing haiku harmony…must borrow.
Perfect for this day, Margaret. It’s been wonderful to read everyone’s thoughts in their haiku.
It’s nice to know I’m in good company! I’m often composing during those early morning hours while driving my kids to school (it’s about a 90 minute commute). Sometimes even earlier under the covers…

haiku
These December haiku are an inspiration and solace.
Jone, I have no intention of stopping just because the calendar page turns. There will be commonplace marvels to rest my mind on and no end of outrage to channel into art.
haiku harmony
word tendrils link together
sharing the soil of friendship
Love this image, Tabatha, of our tendrils linking in the soil of friendship!
haiku harmony
arranging layered words we
rage and marvel on
Love the alliteration in ‘haiku harmony.’ đŸ™‚
