Ten things I want to do instead of write:
Stay in bed.
Read a good book.
Cuddle with my schnoodle.
Drink coffee.
Eat chocolate.
Chat with a friend.
Sweep the floor. (Oak pollen season)
Check Facebook.
Read other blogs.
Exercise, and I hate to exercise!
On this final Monday of the Slice of Life Challenge, I am tired. I don’t want to write. Will you make me?
I think you just bossed yourself into it!
I loved that. I would rather be doing half those things too. I like your line about exercise. 🙂
Great job on posting. You can multi task and drink coffee and eat chocolate while writing.
After the weekend you’ve had, relax. The pollen is omnipresent and not going anywhere. You would just stir it up anyway.
Thanks Susan, I am walking barefoot in the pollen.
A fun read.
I like it. I feel that way sometimes.
I had such a hard time myself with writing that day. The last week was the hardest for me. Maybe it was the pollen making our heads all fuzzy! I look forward to reading some more of your writing on Tuesdays – and maybe your book when it is published, too. You must not have many of this kind of hard-to-write days!
Thanks for the comment. That was after a weekend of too much fun, so I was just plain tired. I am now attempting to write a poem a day. Not sure yet if I will do the 30 Day Challenge from the poetry foundation on Facebook or Bud who Kevin is recommending. Yesterday I wrote an acrostic about the symphony concert in our local park. All this is keeping me writing. Will you keep writing?
